It all started with bananas on toast for breakfast when Sarah noticed a beaming light shining down from the sky. She walked outside, curious to see what was going on. The light became brighter and brighter, then she heard this loud crashing sound.
She ran inside to call”111”. “Police please!” she said to the operator, “There’s some kind of bright light and I heard a loud crashing noise. Can you please send the Police out to have a look?” “Name and address please mam,” said the operator.
“Sarah Quinn, 22 Brougham Street – come quick!” she said, then hung up the phone.
Sarah nervously walked outside and heard a “loud” squeaking noise. It sounded like a mouse but a really loud mouse.
She drew closer and closer to the light when all of a sudden she saw a huge aircraft with thousands of mice rushing out of it. She ran back to her house in a terrifying panic and locked her door and waited for it to be over.
All of a sudden, the light went off and the loud echoing squeaking noise stopped.
Then, there was a knock on the door.
“Police – open up! She ran to the door and opened it. Her eyes were filled with tears as she explained to the policeman what had just happened. The look on the police officer’s face was like he thought she was crazy.
He sat her down to calm her. After a while, the police officer said, “Thanks. We will investigate and get back to you soon.” Then he left.
Sarah started to question herself thinking she was going crazy.
She decided to carry on her day and go to work. After work she went straight home, cooked her dinner and then sat down to watch the news.
She couldn’t believe what she saw on the news. China has been completely infested with mice.
She quickly turned the TV off and called her mother to tell her what she had seen this morning.
