There are a lot of things happening in 2015 but lets take a quick look back at 2014.
We supported more learners last year than in any previous year. In fact ALS was able to help 253 learners complete apprenticeships, gain NCEA credits, enrol in other study courses, read their first book, gain car and truck driver licenses, as well as pass entrance exams to the Police, Army and Navy.
Along the way our courses provided life skills and literacy to young mums, young men involved in the justice system, dyslexic people in the workplace, those who wanted basic computer skills and to learners needing English as a second language skills
A big congratulations to all those who succeeded and to the tutors who helped them get there. Your success makes all our other jobs worthwhile.
