Do the best for your new baby

With the right parenting skills, having a new baby can be one of the most amazing things in life.

There’s so much to learn and so many new things to get used to. Never sleeping. Feeding another hungry mouth. Having no time to yourself.

This course will help you to care for your baby and yourself.

More than 90 other mums have taken this course. Time and again, we’ve seen them go on to do amazing things. Some have taken up great new jobs. Others have enrolled in study. All of them have become kinder and more confident mums who are able to do the best for their new baby.

Make things easier through parenting strategies

Those first few months of having a baby can be pretty exhausting. You’re getting little sleep. Your usual routine goes out the door. You feel moody and frustrated.

All that is totally normal.

On this course, you’ll learn what to expect when your baby is growing up. And you’ll gain the parenting skills you need to communicate with kindness and patience. Because that’s good for your baby and good for you!

Feel good again after your pregnancy

Don’t you get annoyed by those celebrity mums who look so darn good after their pregnancy?

For the rest of us – that’s just not realistic. All the same, we can still help you get into an exercise habit. One that you actually enjoy. And that doesn’t injure your baby…

Set some awesome goals to work towards

When you become a mum, it makes sense to put your job and career on the backburner. But it can still be helpful to have career goals to work towards.

We can tailor the course so you receive NZQA Unit Standards, and help you work towards a further qualification.

Learn to save up for the things you love

Making it from one paycheck or benefit payment to the next – all that becomes even harder when you have another mouth to fee. There’s less money coming in the door and less time to make ends meet.

On this course, you’ll learn how to save money so you can spend more on the things you love. You might not be at Kim Kardashian levels at the end of it, but you’ll be able to do more with what you do have.

Get a kick from reading to your kids

It’s a parenting skills that helps you and them.¬†With a bit of practise and some supportive tutors, you’ll be reading to your kids before you know it.
