Fresh Tracks – Adventure, life skills and career direction

12 October 2016 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

What is Fresh Tracks about?

Fresh Tracks is a fun and free 10 week course for young men to help you make good choices and succeed in your life. Your decisions, your choice, your future!

Learn skills for life!

We know the world can be a scary place sometimes. It’s hard to know what to do with your life.

We’ll help you set goals for your life and achieve them. You’ll learn the skills to get your life on the right track. We’ll cover things like:

  • How to get a job
  • Looking after a house and car
  • Using computers and the internet
  • Reading, writing, speaking and listening
  • Making a budget
  • Getting fit and staying in shape
  • How to cook a mean feed for your family and your mates.

Do fun stuff!

We won’t be sitting around in a classroom all day. We’ll be out doing fun stuff. You might be able to choose from activities like:

  • Caving, kayaking or tramping
  • Learning to box with Victory Boxing
  • Rock climbing
  • Racing with Waka Ama
  • Learning how to save lives through first-aid.

Increase your confidence!

Fresh Tracks is all about gaining the confidence to move in a new direction. Some things will put you out of your comfort zone. But maybe you’ll find out that you’re an awesome cook? Or a world class boxer?

Everybody is good at something! You’ll find out about your ninja skills.
