Fresh Tracks gives young men the chance to set a fresh direction for their lives. Adventure meets goal setting and life skills. It’s a fun and free course for young men to help you make good choices and succeed in your life. Get outdoors and work towards something exciting.
Fresh Tracks is for young men who are looking to make a fresh start with their lives. You’ll be aged between 17 and 21 (although we can take people outside those ages). You’re not in tertiary study and you’re not currently employed.
It’s not easy to change the direction of your life, and that’s why it’s so important to have the right team supporting you along the way. With no more than 8 people on Fresh Tracks, you’ll make good mates to help you achieve your goals.
We know the world can be a scary place sometimes. It’s hard to know what to do with your life.
We’ll help you set goals for your life and achieve them. You’ll learn the skills to get your life on the right track. We’ll cover things like:
We won’t be sitting around in a classroom all day. We’ll be out doing fun stuff, like
Fresh Tracks is all about gaining the confidence to move in a new direction. Some things will put you out of your comfort zone. But maybe you’ll find out that you’re an awesome cook? Or a world class boxer?
Everybody is good at something! You’ll find out about your ninja skills.
Here’s an example of what we might do for a week:

Length: 12 weeks
Days: Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Times: 4 hours each day from 10.00am – 2.30pm each day.
Cost: You won’t have to pay anything to join the course thanks to funding from the good folk at The Tindall Foundation and Nelson Bays Community Foundation. It’s free for young men aged 17 -21 in Nelson and Tasman.
