Some of our previous clients
Boosting confidence with The Warehouse Ltd (2016)
This 12 week programme gave the learners strategies to better understand words and numbers. But more than anything, it gave them confidence that they could continue to grow, learn and contribute to their workplace. Read more .
Digital literacy with Sealord (2014)
We helped six factory workers and two supervisors to learn about computers. They learned basic computing tasks to use in their work and home life.
Literacy, numeracy and oral communication with Ryman Ltd (2010)
This 20 week programme supported seven learners with their individual literacy and numeracy needs. The learners included rest home caregivers, nursing staff, a supervisor and a gardener.
English as a Second Language (ESOL) with Sealord
This on-site programme focused on safe operating procedures in the factory. We also supported the 12 non-English speaking factory workers to pass the induction test in English - a requirement for entering the main Sealord site.
National Caregiving Certificate for Access Homehealth (2011)
This 20 week programme supported five employees to pass the National Certificate in Community Care. Some of the learners had high literacy and numeracy needs, and low confidence. Perhaps the most extreme of these went on to complete her Level 3 Certificate and her learning journey was featured in the national in-house magazine.
Boosting productivity with Downer
We helped supervisors and foremen with literacy, numeracy and computers in this 10 week programme.
Learning how to properly calculate area and volume helped them to more accurately report and charge-out to Downer's clients.
They also learned about basic reading and writing, as well as computer and email processes.
Improving productivity and safety with Sanford (2008-09)
We ran two integrated 21 week programmes: one for line workers and one for supervisors.
This line worker programme enhanced their productivity, safety and quality of work. The programme successfully taught them how to read, listen and communicate key information related to their job.
The supervisor programme focused on communicating instructions and working with line workers to solve problems.
