We had a big celebration on International Literacy Day (Tuesday the 8th of September) at Fairfield house. Much fun and many laughs were had playing the "hearts" game run by one of our tutors. Awards were also presented to all our learners to honour their progress and improvements in various aspects.
Adult Learners Week in New Zealand is coordinated by Adult Community Education (ACE) and is a nationwide event, which is celebrated by many organisations across the country.
It is a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate the achievements of our learners and our tutors.
