Community Garage Sale

Adult Learning Support took part in the recent community garage sale organised by the Nelson City Council at the Trafalgar Centre. Items from tutors and students were ferried in early on Saturday the 13th of November and happily very little had to be ferried out again. The 'boys' (Cameron and Brendyn), spent a good deal of time setting up the marble rather than helping in the morning but thankfully it was all up and running on time. It was a great day and succeeded not only in raising money but also to get our name out into the community.

We would like to acknowledge the large number of committee, tutors, staff and volunteers who manned the stall during the day, processed the items for sale and otherwise contributed to a very successful day.
