Adult Learners Week

ALS had a most enjoyable celebration on Wednesday the 16th Sept at Fairfield house for Adult Learners’ Week. The room was full and buzzing with talk and laughter. Thank you for coming. Cameron welcomed us and then we enjoyed a tasty feast.

A special thanks to Jan for pulling it all together and thank you to all who provided food. The decorating antics were entertainment enough but then there was more with the game of Hearts, always fun and well called. It was a pleasure to get to the business end and hand out certificates celebrating everyone’s individual successes and dedication through out the year, studying and teaching. Then as suddenly as it began the evening was over and we worked well together cleaning and packing away. I look forward to another opportunity to do the same again.
